When we asked sophomores to share their bits of wisdom from their first year here at Cornell, they pretty much all agreed: the best way to acclimate to college and to meet friends is to become involved. There are tons of organizations, clubs, and groups on campus, and they’d all love to have you join them at any point.
We have started to feature student organizations on this blog as part of our “Spotlight” tradition in showcasing specific aspects of student activities on campus.
Here’s what we have so far:
Posts to look forward to:
If you or any organizations/groups you’re a part of want to be featured on the blog, submit an entry to us at firstname.lastname@example.org
In the meantime, you’ll be able to find out about more than 50 organizations at the student involvement fair this Friday (Sept. 5). Tables for each participating organization will be on the OC from 3:30-5:00pm, and the showcase portion will run from 5:15-6:15 pm. While the OC will host most of our student organizations, Meet the Greeks will be happening on the Ped Mall as a way to learn more about the different Greek organizations on campus.
