The Cornell College Department of Theatre is proud to present THOSE THAT FALL; a story of love and loss in a town gripped by fear.

In a series of actual news articles printed in September of 1903, a small Iowa town was terrorized by a giant bat-like creature over a series of nights. Inspired by these articles, THOSE THAT FALL tells the story of a fictional Iowa town grappling with the threat of economic collapse, anxious with the surge of immigrant newcomers and threatened by rumors of a monster circling above the town. All the while, Lily and Henry cope to balance the traditions of the past with their youthful hopes for the future.

Written by the ensemble, THOSE THAT FALL is an often hilarious, deeply moving story of a town desperate to save itself and hopeful that it will without losing its heart.

THOSE THAT FALL runs April 22, 23, 29, 30 at 7:30 pm and April 24 at 1 pm. Post Show Talk Back with the Ensemble on April 23.
