Celebrate your freedom to read during Banned Books Week Sept.26−Oct.3,2009

Cole Library observes Banned Books Week with a display of banned or challenged books on the third floor of the library. Celebrate your freedom to “Read what you choose and choose what you read.”  The American Library Association has more information at http://www.ala.org/ala/issuesadvocacy/banned/bannedbooksweek/index.cfm.

Ackerman at Cornell on Sept. 17 for One Book, One Campus, One Community

Diane Ackerman, author of The Zookeeper’s Wife, is scheduled to be on the Cornell campus Thursday, Sept. 17, 2009, for the following events which are free and open to the public.
